Terms of Service

Welcome to RunwayCue. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and RunwayCue ("Runway", "we", "us") governing your use of the RunwayCue iOS app, the RunwayCue web dashboard, RunwayCue.com, and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

RunwayCue is an AI-assisted outfit-styling tool, available in two forms. In the iOS app's Style tab, you describe an occasion and add a photo of yourself, and RunwayCue suggests an outfit from a catalog of real products and generates a visual preview of how that look might appear on you. In the web dashboard, you browse the same product catalog and assemble a look piece by piece, and RunwayCue generates the finished image on a model. Either way, RunwayCue is a styling and visualization aid — it does not sell the products it shows, and generated images are approximations, not photographs or guarantees.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2.2 Accounts

You sign in through our identity provider (Amazon Cognito), including the option to continue with Google. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity under it. Tell us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Plans, Free Tier & Billing

3.1 Free tier

The Free tier lets you generate up to three (3) looks per day. Looks created on the Free tier always include a RunwayCue watermark. Daily limits reset each calendar day.

3.2 Standard & Max

Paid plans ("Standard" and "Max") increase or remove the daily look limit and remove the watermark, as described in the app at the time of purchase. Plan features, limits, and prices are shown before you subscribe and may change on a going-forward basis.

3.3 Billing

Paid plans are recurring subscriptions billed through the applicable app store or payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can manage or cancel them through your app store account. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

4. Your Content

"Your Content" means the photos and information you provide, including photos of yourself. You keep ownership of Your Content. You grant Runway a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, process, and modify Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you — for example, to upload your photo and generate a look from it. You represent that you have the right to provide Your Content and that it does not depict any person without their consent.

5. AI-Generated Looks

Generated looks are created by automated systems and third-party AI image providers. They are illustrative and may be inaccurate, unflattering, or unavailable in reality. Do not rely on a generated image as a true representation of a product, a person, fit, color, or price. Runway is not professional styling, medical, or purchasing advice.

6. Products & Third-Party Brands

Product information, images, brand names, and prices belong to their respective owners and are shown for reference. Runway does not sell these products, and availability and pricing are set by the brands, not by us. Links to brand sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for third-party sites or transactions.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully; upload content you lack the rights to, or that depicts others without consent; upload sexual, hateful, or otherwise objectionable content; attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent limits (including the Free-tier limit or watermark); or use the Service to build a competing product.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and the Runway name and logo, is owned by RunwayCue and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service; they do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated looks will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RunwayCue will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US$50.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold RunwayCue harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the rights of others.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnification) survive termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
